
Michael Lewis

As President of Quick Med Claims (QMC), Michael Lewis is responsible for executive leadership and general oversight of the entire organization. He provides the oversight and mentoring necessary to the success of the organization while maintaining a strong connection to the Clients. Mr. Lewis is still actively involved with claims each week as a means of staying in touch with the process.
Mr. Lewis received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications from State University of New York at Albany. At the age of 26, he was a founding partner of QMC where he was responsible for growing the organization from two employees to the 80-plus staff members that QMC currently employs.
Mr. Lewis is a nationally known speaker on Medicare/Medicaid reimbursement policy as it pertains to air and ground ambulance services. He has been the keynote speaker at the Association of Air Medical Services (AAMS) Spring Conference, as well as given multiple presentations at the annual Air Medical Transport Conference (AMTC) and has spoken at numerous ground ambulance conferences throughout the country. Over the years, Mr. Lewis has met with multiple Medicare carriers and intermediaries, as well as working closely with regional Centers for Medicare/Medicaid Services (CMS) offices on ambulance reimbursement issues.
Mr. Lewis also serves as the President of the Cures for Kids Foundation, which he co-founded with his business partner and several friends. This organization raises money for the advancement of children on both a medical and social front.
