Requirements
All applicants must have a High School diploma or the equivalent, while medical billing or insurance verification experience is preferred, but not required. Candidates must possess sufficient written and oral communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Computer and customer service skills are essential, as are organization and the ability to multi-task using multiple programs and windows simultaneously.

Flexible Work Schedules
QMC Team Members have the ability to work flexible work schedules (i.e.: working four (4), 10-hour days with one (1) day off during the week). We also offer flexibility during the work week based on our hours of operation.
Holidays and Paid Time Off
QMC provides a casual work environment with the following paid holidays:

After your first 90 days, your accrued PTO is available for use. Additionally, QMC will grant an advance on up to 40 hours of future PTO to help you manage family obligations and plan vacations.
Career Advancement
We welcome employees from all backgrounds and offer hands-on training on our systems, processes, and procedures to provide every opportunity for our Team Members to advance up the QMC Career Ladder. Once on our Team, we will provide access to a robust, on-demand training library and educational opportunities including webinars, instructor-led courses, individualized coaching, and more. Additionally, we offer our own biller certification course for Team Members to obtain “Billing Q-Cert” certification on our proprietary billing system. This certification is required for all Billing Specialists, Billing Leads, and Billing Managers but is available to everyone. QMC also provides continuing education courses at no charge for Team Members who hold Certified Ambulance Coder (CAC) certification with the National Academy of Ambulance Compliance (NAAC) to keep their certificate current.
