All applicants are required to have a High School diploma or equivalent. Medical billing or insurance verification experience preferred, but not required. All applicants should be comfortable navigating and using multiple programs and windows. Computer and customer service skills are essential, organizational skills and the ability to multi-task are essential. Candidates must display sufficient written and oral communication skills and have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Flexible Work Schedules
QMC employees have the ability to work flexible work schedules, which may include working four 10-hour days and having one day off during the week. We also offer flexibility during the work week given our hours of operation. The standard shift is Monday through Friday: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM. Additional flexibility varies by account, but may allow for start times between 7:00 AM – 9:00 AM, and ending times between 3:00 PM – 5:30 PM.

When you are hired with QMC you start earning benefits on day one!
Once you have been with QMC for ninety days, your accrued PTO is available for use. Additionally QMC will grant you an advance on up to 40 hours of future PTO to help you manage family obligations and plan vacations. In addition, QMC also allows employees to roll over up to forty hours of PTO annually and accrue up to a maximum allotment of 160 total hours per year. QMC also offers unpaid personal time away from work for emergency situations and a paid day off for your birthday!
QMC offers annual increases to employees in addition to advancement opportunities upon successful completion of your initial training. We offer newly hired employees from all backgrounds hands on training courses to help you learn our systems, processes and procedures. After being employed with QMC for at least ninety (90) days you may be eligible to take a Certified Ambulance Coder (CAC) course through NAAC. We also offer accredited continuing education courses at no charge to keep your current coding certifications valid and a variety of positions to keep you moving in your career.
